Narrowing Down My Essential Stash

I'm on the road this week, which prompted me to think about what beauty items I consider most essential when on-the-go. I'm not considering items I plan to borrow such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. To some people a specific product may be crucial, but I'll be staying with friends for all but one night and trust that they have decent stuff. I did bring my own gel to tame my curly locks, but again, this is a product I could easily share if for some reason I forgot it.

What I'm thinking about are items that I generally wouldn't share or that I couldn't necessarily count on borrowing.

I've already left, so it's really a moot point to go over this because I took what I wanted. But, if for some reason I had to pick my five top items...what would they be? Thankfully I have a lot of driving time ahead in which to ponder this great mystery of life!

What would you bring?

Depends. If it's just for a few days I'd have my hair professionally blow dried and I'd take Ojon dry shampoo with me so I wouldn't have to deal with my hair at all. Sometimes I travel for months at a time and I always have Ojon with me as in some countries you just never know.....

Other than that, face cream and lip gloss.

I always take a lot of stuff with me when I travel, but if I had to choose just five I'd say face cream, foundation, mascara, lipgloss and my L'Oreal Nuti-gloss conditioner. It's the only conditioner leaves my hair tangl-free and managable. And I'd take a makeup remover as well.

Oooh good question! I think I wouldn't leave home without:

1.) My Burt's Bees chapstick
2.) Black eyeliner (I'm an eyeliner junkie)
3.) My CoverGirl Amazemint lip gloss in Merry Berry. (Have you tried it? They partnered with Crest and created a lip gloss that's minty and fabulous!)
4.) My St. Ives collagen elastin facial moisturizer -- it's a Godsend for the unwanted wrinkles I worry about once I get older. I've tried many facial moisturizers and this is by far the best for me.
5.) For perfume: "Covet," by Sarah Jessica Parker. My signature scent, don't leave home without it.

What 5 items would you bring?
